如果说美国是国进民进的典型，巴布亚新几内亚是国退民退的典型，中国是国进民退的典型，那么菲律宾就是国退民进的典型。

这个国家的政府很腐败，基础设施建设很差劲，国力也很式微，但我在这里转了两周，发现菲律宾老百姓相对来说比较富有，而且很快乐。有图为证：

（菲律宾的公共交通主要靠长途汽车，三轮摩托车和这种当地特有的Jeepney，我这两个星期的旅行时间里坐过不下50个小时的这些车，车厢里无一例外都
是又挤又热，但我没有看到一起吵架事件，乘客都温和有礼)

（菲律宾的文化生活挺“恶俗”的，全国到处都是卡拉OK厅（当地人叫做Videoke），不过我见到的最“恶俗”的表演是在一个相当于云南的县城里看到
的，几个大老爷们装扮成女子，用女高音在表演卡拉OK）
